Our Story
Nestled along Brighton’s vibrant seafront, Pinello is more than just a Mediterranean restaurant — it’s a place rich in culinary and cultural heritage. Family-owned for over 40 years, Pinello stands on a historic site that once housed The Pandora Gallery, the first cinema to show films outside of London. In 1896, this very location made history by hosting Britain’s first public film screening outside the capital — an event now honoured by the British Film Institute. Today, we honour that legacy by combining our passion for delicious Mediterranean cuisine with a deep respect for our local roots. From our kitchen to your table, every dish is served with history, heart, and flavour.
